Dr. Maloney’s work is a significant contribution to the historiography of this conflict and those interested in understanding the subject of Canada, and the war in Afghanistan, will have to use this monograph as a staring point. The success of this endeavour is due to Dr. Maloney’s commitment and devotion to his profession.”
