CISM (W) Soccer

The 2018 CISM (W) Soccer championship is currently underway in El Paso, Texas.

Of the 23 players at the championship, eight are current or former RMC Paladins players.

The ten competing teams are split into two groups.

As part of Group A, Team Canada is scheduled to play four round-robin games before the tournament shifts straight into the medal rounds.

Schedule & results as we have them:

Friday June 22: Canada 0 vs Netherlands 0;

Sunday June 24: Canada 0 vs Korea 3;

Tuesday June 26: Canada 0 vs USA 1;

Thursday June 28: Canada 0 vs China 6; and

Tuesday July 3: Gold (9PM) & Bronze (12PM) medal matches

Group B consists of France, Germany, Bahrain, Cameroon, and Brazil.

We wish the soccer playing ladies much success at this world level of play.
