27569 Michael Thomas Moore

Bachelor of Engineering, Civil Engineering

Whitby, Ontario

When you were younger, you always wanted to help, and to contribute to your school and community. In June 2015, we waved goodbye to a boy on a Via train, heading to BMOQ. With each visit, we watched as your confidence and maturity grew. Today, we see a confident young man who still wants to help and contribute, this time to his country. Michael, we couldn’t be more proud of all your accomplishments, your persistence, and your drive to meet your goals. Congratulations on your graduation, and we wish you good health, good friends, and a lifetime of rewarding experiences.   Thank you for your service to Canada. And no, you can’t microwave a turkey.

Love from Mom and Dad.

CPO1 Line Laurendeau: Bachelor of Military Art and Science (BMASc)

CPO1 Laurendeau has worked hard the past couple of years in managing multiple programs (NEPDP & BMASc) while fulfilling her duties at work. These programs helped Line further refine her critical thinking, while she reinvented herself by taking courses that pushed her aptitudes to new limits.  It was a great investment for Line’s future, both personally and professionally. Her desire to pursue her dreams gave her the wherewithal to continue towards reaching her goals.

Congratulations Line on achieving this goal and acquiring your degree!

Vie ta vie comme tu l’as imaginée!!

A letter to Gerson

Four years since your high school graduation and your swearing-in! Time has gone by, and a lot of water has flowed under the bridge. From the teenager making a bold choice to adopt the arms profession to the young man you have become, there is something to be proud of. Since your departure from our small farming village of Moose Creek, Ontario to your stay at RMC Kingston, it has been a great adventure for you, whose challenges have transformed you and allowed you to develop your strength of character, your intellect and to forge yourself new friendships through which you have learned to blossom.

By looking back on your journey, we are proud that you have earned your Bachelor’s degree in Space Science. We remember your first days when the FYOP had put you to the test, but you made it holding strong! The fencing team was also another constant in which you developed your athletic as well as your leadership skills in which you won several medals including the gold medal at the Carleton U. Invitational Tournament. There’s something to be proud of as a captain of a winning team !!

Your main motivation for joining the FAC is “to be there for your fellow citizens”. These are your own words. If you let yourself be guided by this fundamental principle, you will be able to follow with confidence your dreams and your ambitions.

Live your life as you imagined it !! We love you and we are proud of you!

Your family
