Greetings from the Québec City Branch of the Club to you, Rolande and the rest of the good Panet House Staff.
We’ve just had our month of June luncheon at the Citadelle and, for our final meeting of the season, we invited Col Simon Bernard to address our loyal membership and give us a talk on all the rumours and happenings at the College surrounding the announcement of the possible expansion of the academic structure which would lead to a full four-year degree in selected academic disciplines.
The Commandant did not waste any time in saying he would be happy to oblige and he did. As a matter of fact, I think he volunteered to do it while he attended our gala dinner last January. You will find a summary of his talk and of course about the rest of the event as we normally do after each meeting at the following URL :
While your readers are there, they might just want to read about the other meetings and spend an hour our two browsing through the other monthly reports. We generally include a lot of pictures (easy reading) and getting good visual update on old friends.
Have a nice summer (which we are not getting here) and send us some of your great summer pictures so we can post them on the Website.

“Here’s a short 4 minute “summer read” on how you can quickly and meaningfully impact Employee Engagement, driving increased productivity, decreased absenteeism, and greater retention.”
Class of ’59 – Heads Up!
Would you please insert in the next couple of issues that the class of ’59 is having a reunion this year. It’s our 61st year since entry. We’ve moved to a three year cycle because of the aging of the class members. As you know the older you get, the harder it is to get around, and there are fewer to “get around”.
