This Wednesday, the second year class had a PMT briefing about the RMC first year survey. The briefing was conducted by Major Michael Brock, the SO OPD DP 1 & 2, from Military Personnel Generation (MILSPERGEN) Headquarters. During the briefing, he explained the importance of completing the survey, that it would help the College’s leadership make decisions for the betterment of future RMC students. Maj Brock ended the briefing early so that we could have time to fill out the online survey.

The survey itself covered every area of College life, from academics to athletics to military training. Space was provided for us to leave open-ended comments and have our voices heard by the school’s leadership. We (the students who came here after spending a year at CMRSJ) also had questions pertaining to the transition from CMR St Jean to RMC Kingston. Overall, it was a comprehensive survey that gave us the chance to suggest improvements to the College.

The second hour of PMT was Squadron Commander Time. Each second year flight had the opportunity to interact with their Squadron Commanders, getting to know them better and to address any concerns. Both of this week’s PMT periods were well-spent and gave us the chance to voice our concerns to the school’s leadership.
