I talked to Bill about this icetime. I am willing to coordinate this on Saturday and organize things at the rink if there is some interest for playing a game of shinny. The varsity team is away but Im sure there are many intramural ice hockey players that would love to play against some ex-cadets. -Gino Bruni, class of 2008, 23988.

Gino – – thanks for volunteering. Spread the word. I have been able to contact several classmates (1989) of mine and they are willing to play. I am still waiting confirmation from others. Andre use to play goalie but has not played in 20 years. He still has the heart of a Lion and volunteered but no goalie equipment. I am trying to find some equipment for him. I am going to lug my kit from Miami – – I hate to see the ice time go to waste. Remember, I’ll supply the beer.

As I indicated before, any ex-cadet is welcome to play regardless of graduation year. Tell volunteers to contact me at pat@patDray.com or cell (305) 401-7300. Alternatively, they can contact Bill Oliver at the RMC Club (613) 541-6000 ext: 6814, who is helping to coordinate and re-kindle this important tradition. Thanks, Pat.
